Our Scottish salmon fillets are delivered frozen, with the fresh taste that your whole family loves, making dinnertime a little easier on you. Each fillet is hand-cut to procure only the choice meat from the fish. Not only that, but we choose only farm-raised Scottish salmon that are free of growth hormones and antibiotics, so you can feel good about what you're serving your family. Each order contains an average of 4 pounds, so you'll have a couple of meals, depending on the number of hungry guests you're feeding.
Originally from Faroe Island, our Scottish salmon fillets are flash-frozen and sent to you as soon as possible, ensuring they are fresh, and still have that fresh-caught taste that everyone loves. We offer two packaging options, either whole fillets or pieces cut into portions, depending on what is easiest for you and how much you plan on preparing.
Pan Seared Scottish Salmon
- 1 Scottish salmon fillet, thawed
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- ½ teaspoon lemon juice
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 teaspoon chopped thyme or basil, fresh
Warm the oil over medium heat and add the Scottish salmon fillet to the pan.
Season to taste and add the fresh herbs and lemon juice.
Cook the fillet on one side for about 8 minutes, then flip for about 5, flip again for another five minutes. Check the salmon’s doneness by the color, it should be a nice even pink and flake easily with a fork.
Serve with a side of vegetables and rice or a side salad for a lighter meal.
