Thaw frozen legs completely. Break at the joints. Use a scissors to cut down both sides of each shell. Lift off and discard the upper half, leaving the meat on the lower half. For 1½ pounds crab legs, melt ¼ cup butter and stir in 2 tablespoons lemon juice and ½ teaspoon dry tarragon. Arrange crab legs, shell side down in a shallow baking dish and brush generously with butter mixture. Broil 5 to 6 inches from heat just until hot (4 to 5 minutes)
