Pollock has a mild, delicate taste, a slightly coarse texture, and very pleasant flakiness when cooked properly. Our pollock fillets are shipped in 6 six-ounce, individually wrapped packages. Our pollock has been thoroughly deboned and washed, so it’s perfect for making imitation crab. Aside from being excellent cooked at home in any number of ways, pollock is a very versatile fish. It can even be used to make a flavorful fish paste that can be turned into a wide variety of “fake” seafood products that taste just like the real thing.

Pan-roasted pollock fillets with peppercorn butter recipe.
Typically serves 8 people. 
• A stick of butter,
• 4 teaspoons of freshly chopped parsley
• 2 cloves of minced garlic
• A teaspoon of ground-up peppercorn
• A teaspoon of a lemon peel slightly grated
• 2 teaspoons of olive oil and 8 fillets of pollock.

Preheat the oven to 400 degrees. Then mash the butter in a small bowl with the ground peppercorns, garlic & parsley. Then heat the oil in a cast-iron skillet on medium while sprinkling salt on the pollock. Next, put the pollock on the skillet and keep cooking until it’s turned golden brown. Then you turn it over and put it in the oven. Keep it in there for about ten minutes while adding some butter to the skillet. Finally, cook the butter on medium until it melts, and pour butter sauce on the pollock before serving it.
