MAKING A SPLASH WITH THE PITTSBURGH CHILDREN’S INSTITUTE
Robert Wholey & Co., Inc. to present donation at 100th anniversary event
For Immediate Release Pittsburgh, PA – Robert Wholey & Co., Inc. is excited to support the Children’s Institute encouraging customers to count the trout, visit Rachel the Pig, and have fun for this great cause.
September 7 – 22, Wholey’s is inviting everyone to stop by the store in Pittsburgh’s Strip District and enter the Count the Trout contest. It is $1 per chance to guess how many rainbow trout are swimming in Wholey’s giant fish tank. The winner with the closest guess will receive a Wholey’s gift card.
Wholey’s is planning to match all proceeds from the Count the Trout contest and Rachel the Pig, the big bronze piggy bank in front of the store. The donation will be presented to the Children’s Institute during Wholey’s 100th Anniversary Celebration Sunday, September 23, 2012 at 2 p.m. at the Wholey’s store.
Wholey’s is celebrating 100 years and is hosting a weekend festival September 21, 22 and 23 in the Strip District. The event is full of free family-friendly entertainment including magic, live music, cooking demonstrations, Marvel the blue pony, free samples and more. Wholey’s is sponsoring the “Celebrate the Strip’ Parade set for Saturday, September 22, 2012 along Penn Avenue between 21st and 17th Street at 12 p.m.
