WHOLEY’S TO HOST 100TH ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATION

A Special Thank You to Wholey’s Customers Celebratory Weekend Event Scheduled for September 2012

For Immediate Release Pittsburgh, PA – August 9, 2012 – Robert Wholey & Co., Inc. is thrilled to announce its centennial celebration marking 100 years of business. To honor this milestone, Wholey’s is inviting all of Pittsburgh to a weekend festival September 21, 22 & 23, 2012. Each day from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., family friendly events will take place at the Wholey’s store located in Pittsburgh’s historic Strip District – 1711 Penn Ave. Entertainment will include live music, magic acts, stilt walkers, balloon art, face painting, contests, free samples, and cooking demonstrations.

Saturday, September 22 at 1 p.m. Pittsburgh’s Mayor Ravenstahl issued a proclamation to congratulate the Wholey family and to unveil 17th St. as the newly named ‘Wholey Way.’
